There’s nothing I love more than working with people and organisations to improve relationships at work – with themselves, within teams and with their customers.
Whether I’m working with business leaders and organisations, or individuals looking for more out of their work, I bring a blend of consulting-coaching-mentoring skills that can be focused on programmes as diverse as CRM and leadership development to personalised work-life mentoring programmes.
The Corporate Hippy realises my ambition to make a difference, by reflecting the depths of my respect for the individual soul that sometimes struggles to be seen and heard in the corporate environment. But I have a fervent belief that organisations and people are more successful when the individual (manager, customer or employee) is recognised and celebrated for the value they have to offer.
Why The Corporate Hippy?
My own personal journey has taken me through a career in consulting, working for leading technology corporates including Cisco Systems, Nortel Networks and Compaq in the US, and smaller Financial Services companies such as Absolute Invoice Finance and Coface in the UK.
While living in California my career took off - developing a worldwide sales instructor certification program which demanded explosive energy levels. But I began to experience conflict between my professional and personal lives, until I found a refuge in yoga.
Time spent in the hills of Northern California in quiet reflection helped shape more meaningful purpose in what I was doing.
When I moved back to the UK I was
fortunate enough to meet an amazing “life” teacher from India who helped me understand that the meaning in my work and life is directly proportional to the amount of love and heart that I pour into it.
The Corporate Hippy is all about integrating the human and personal sides of our lives with work and business. When there is an emotional connection with our work, colleagues and customers, life becomes richer and far more satisfying.
